The priorities of my position are to connect members to each other and to ministry opportunities with the ultimate goal of strengthening their relationship with Christ. It is clear to me that the best way to do that is to help people find the “right fit” when it comes to joining a small group, ministry, or service project. I try to get to know the new members and to keep in touch with the different groups and ministries so I can help make good connections.

Basics of Faith (New Member Class)

Basics of Faith is offered three times per year, in the fall, winter, and late spring. It meets for four consecutive Sundays from 4PM to 7PM, with the final half-hour set aside for sharing dinner together. The dates of the next class offering are always posted on-line, in the Sunday morning bulletins, and in the newsletter. It is helpful if you sign up by calling the church office (661/259-0200) or emailing Robin Hyland, though registration is not required to participate.

Our next session will begin on February 21, 2010. New Member Sunday will be March 21st You may sign up beginning January 31.
