Senior Pastor Joe Campeau (661/259-0200, ext. 11)

Pastor Joe has been at Christ Lutheran Church since 1995, serving first as Associate Pastor, and then in 1999 becoming Senior Pastor. He graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN and Luther-Northwestern Seminary in St. Paul, MN. He has served congregations in Billings, MT and Longview, WA, where he specialized in Youth Ministry. He has also served congregations in Irvine, CA. and Plymouth, MA before coming to Santa Clarita. Pastor Joe's passion is to see people of all ages grow deeper in their faith and follow Jesus boldly. In fact, he believes that following Jesus is the greatest adventure of all.
Pastor Joe enjoys photography, writing, and cycling once again, and loves to travel, especially if it means long hours on the open road behind the steering wheel. He also thinks motor scooters rule. Pastor Joe and his wife, Barbie, have three grown children. He is the author of Ordinary Joy: Finding Fresh Promise in Routine Moments(Augsburg, 2005 www.augsburgfortress.org)

Associate Pastor Dan Parr (661/259-0200, ext. 12)

Pastor Dan has been on the staff of Christ Lutheran Church since 2000. He is a graduate of Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN (www.augsburg.edu) receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Services in January of 1976. He attended Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (www.plts.edu) graduating with a Master of Divinity degree in 1985.
Pastor Dan oversees prayer ministry, pastoral care and visitation in our parish. He helps with worship and takes great joy in adorning our sacred space for worship and special festival services. Pastor Dan is involved with the national prayer network through the ELCA (www.prayingchurch.org). He has taught at regional gatherings, synod assemblies and in local parishes. Vacation Bible School is his favorite event at our church.
Pastor Dan and his wife, Susan, have two children, Christian and Jessica. These two young adults are amazing and capable in many ways. Pastor Dan knows that family can at times be an extreme challenge but also a treasure and joy. The Parr family spends time in the Eastern Sierra at Silver Lake tending horses, mules, and guests at Frontier Pack Train. Hobbies include gardening, model railroading (HO), building, and enjoying the grandeur of California.

Associate Pastor Mike Matzek (661/259-0200, ext. 25)

Pastor Mike joined the staff of Christ Lutheran Church in January 2008. He is a graduate of North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND (www.ndsu.edu) and Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, MN (www.luthersem.edu). His first call was as a church planter and developer in McKinney, TX where he served with his wife, Loriann (who is also an ordained pastor in the ELCA). He has also served as an interim pastor to congregations in Toledo, OH and Defiance, OH, helping these congregations through transitions in leadership.

At CLC, Pastor Mike is responsible for youth and young adult ministries. He has a passion for evangelism and finding new ways to reach the growing numbers of people who do not know Jesus. Pastor Mike enjoys traveling, drinking good coffee, reading good books, seeing good movies, and doing really adventurous things like cliff diving, sky diving, parasailing and raiding crack houses. His dream is to be on Jeopardy or to meet Chuck Norris.
